Garden Benefits

Sage tolerates most climates, except for the monsoonal tropics. In areas of extreme heat or cold, the plants are best grown in containers.

Health Benefits

Sage is associated with a number of health benefits as it is very rich in antioxidants and important nutrients such as Vitamin K.
A hair rinse of sage, used regularly, will darken grey hairs.
Sage can help with alleviating stomach pains and preventing painful periods. It has also been known to treat asthma, diarrhoea, and to reduce excessive sweating.

Harvesting

Leaves or flowers can be picked at any time as required. For drying purposes, harvest leaves before flowering begins.
